Courtaud began as a project between good friends. Adam and Karen met in 2007 and performed together.  Karen and Tim met in 2011 at an open mic and began performing together. Flash forward to 2013- Adam had the brilliant idea to start a band! It was then that they sought out their drummer, Tyler who has been playing the drums for 16 years. They already had a handful of original songs they had each written on their own, so they set to work learning how to play them as a group. They’ve since written several more original songs. They’re also working to build their repertoire to include a selection of their favorite covers.
