Damian LeMaster is an accomplished singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist based in the Asheville area of western North Carolina. Though having originally studied piano performance, Damian completed a degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology in 2006. When he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma the following year, he decided to focus on his first and only love (at the time): music. Within a year, Damian was declared in remission, and it wasn’t long before he met his soon-to-be wife, Carson. In addition to performing as a solo act, Damian has led and played with several bands, including his own LeMasterPlan (with Carson on vocals and percussion) and The Part-Time Gentlemen (with Carson on vocals, Isaac Wells on drums and Jonathan McDade on upright bass), WiLSiN (keys, key-bass, vocals), Consciously Sedated (keys, vocals,, rhythm guitar), Ethos (keys, vocals) and the duo, Bacchus’ Jukebox, also with Isaac Wells on drums. Though his primary instrument is piano, Damian is proficient on over a dozen instruments, including guitar, organ (electric, pipe and pump), accordion, harmonica, mandolin, banjo and ukelele. Damian has played at many of the top venues and festivals in and around western NC, including The Orange Peel, The Grey Eagle, Downtown After 5, Stella Blue, The Emerald Lounge, Pulp, The French Broad River Festival, The Back Room, The Blue Note and The Mountain Sports and Music Festival.
