Ellen Trnka is a beloved Western North Carolina singer songwriter and vibrant performer covering many musical genres and captivating audiences wherever she plays. She is always willing to step up and give of her time and energy to the community and to whoever needs her.
Recently, Ellen was diagnosed with HER-2 positive metastatic breast cancer and is undergoing the recommended treatment, including a mastectomy.
Because she is self-employed and will be unable to work, this treatment will mean a loss of income and ability to pay her living expenses. This Fundraiser Concert & a 2nd one on Wed Oct 7th at 6pm Jazz Night at SAB, hosted by Jason Decristafaro, will help her offset everyday living expenses during recovery and will ease her troubled mind!
