Kelly and Southern Appalachian Brewery have invited us back for another night of Blues and Blues Rock…and I have to think that all you folks that come out to see us is the reason. It’s been a difficult year but seeing all of your smiling faces makes it so much better..Our September 12th gig got rained out but Kelly has asked us to come back and play for you all on Saturday October 3rd!

The Bill Mattocks Quartet is: Howie Johnson, Hendersonville’s resident guitar monster on lead and slide guitar and vocals. Tim McCall, my multi-talented friend on bass, Harlan Johnson, keeping the beat up on drums (also…Howie’s son) and of course me trying to keep up with these talented guys on Harmonica, guitar and vocals. We all have a lot of fun throwing songs at each other…yeah we start with a set list and that lasts about 2 songs in before we start playing whatever comes to mind. So you never know what all we are going to play but I guarantee we put our collective hearts into it!

Please come on out and listen to us on Saturday, October 3rd and also have some great beer and service from the folks at Southern Appalachian Brewery…one of the best live music venues in Western North Carolina.

Due to the cold snap music starts at 6pm tonight.
