Whitney Moore is a soulful and versatile vocalist, an internationally recognized singer, composer, session musician, and holistic vocal instructor.

Raised in a family of professional musicians, she has been perfecting her vocal skills from an early age. Whitney’s love of travel and pursuit of fresh sounds have taken her to stages around the globe. She has crooned Celtic ballads in Spain’s Fontana de Oro; played the Fourth of July Festival in Vallejo, California, with her jazz trio; belted out the blues in resorts across the Caribbean; led swinging dances with her twelve-piece salsa band in the mountains of North Carolina; and even performed an off-the-cuff scat serenade to an audience of monks in Cambodia. Most recently, she spent three years in Mexico studying Latin music, and in the process recorded an album of Latin folk music and an album of original compositions, both available on iTunes.

Whitney is currently performing and teaching in Asheville, North Carolina, her home town. But her worldwide travels have have invested her music with an electic mixture of styles — from Latin rhythms and blues/funk to reggae and gypsy swing. A fluent Spanish speaker (and singer), she seeks to unite the diverse crowds she attracts through the universal language of music. Whether she’s headlining a sold-out music festival, or busking on a street corner, Whitney’s love of music makes every show a magical experience.
