DESCRIPTION:       Are they country? Are they blues? Southern rock? Americana? You be the judge.    Michael “Country” Carver and Mare Carmody haven’t know each other very long, but they discovered a kindred musical spirit upon meeting earlier this year, as well as a mutual love of fried green tomatoes.  Their voices and guitar styles come together with a blend of grit and honey, covering classics, original songs, and a few unexpected gems too.    Country has lived in Western North Carolina for a number of years but is originally from Franklin Furnace, Ohio.    Mare is a Virginia gal but has lived most recently in Memphis TN and Little Rock, AR before moving to Asheville, where she feels right at home.
